Dr. Deval Gadhvi is an attentive primary care physician providing traditional outpatient services to patients in Jersey City, NJ. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.

Dr. Gadhvi earned her bachelor’s degrees in medicine and surgery at the M.P. Shah Medical College in Gujarat, India and completed an internal medicine internship at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, before finishing residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.

As a survivor of breast cancer, Dr. Gadhvi’s approach to overall health has changed. This involves a complete holistic approach to health that includes diet, exercise, stress reduction, and alternative medicine. In a remote desert area of India called Kutch, she has also started a small breast cancer awareness program “Let’s save Maa”. Dr. Gadhavi and her team have also arranged a mammogram bus with cancer awareness materials distributed to young girls of schools in the area.

Dr. Prahlad Gadhavi is a board certified, Internal Medicine Specialist at NJ Primary Care in Jersey City, NJ.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery at B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad. He graduated with honors in 2003 and finished his residency program in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai and Beth Israel Medical Centers in New York City.

Having more than 20 years of diverse experiences, especially in internal medicine, patients trust Dr. Gadhavi to provide a number of services including routine medical exams, bone density measurements, diabetes consultations, anti-aging treatments, lap-band and gastric banding consultations, and many others.

He advocates for his patients and helps them understand their treatment options.

As a nurse practitioner, AJ provides a full range of health care services including assessment, development of treatment plans, and counseling. He believes in a strong patient-provider relationship and takes the time to listen and help educate his patients. His empathy and patient-centered care allows him to adapt his consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate the individual needs of each patient.

AJ earned his MSN in Adult & Geriatric Primary Care from Seton Hall University, and is board certified through the American Nurses Credential Center. He is also certified in Adult & Geriatric Primary Care, Ambulatory Care, and as a Nurse Executive. 

Prior to joining the practice, AJ spent over a decade in NYC treating patients in various primary care offices and hospitals. As a resident of Jersey City, he joined the team to serve the area he lives in. He is passionate about providing care to the LGBTQIA+ community and is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient.

Dr. Omair Shah is a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin completing his degree in neurosciences. He is a foreign medical graduate from Pakistan where he completed his medical degree from Isra University earning gold medals/ high honors in gynecology and pediatrics.

Being in the health care system, he realized that health care management had a lot of room for improvement. Dr. Shah is of the opinion that health care management and patient care go hand in hand, and both should be handled with professionals in the health industry.

He is fully committed to the management side of medicine and has helped NJ Primary Care grow from 1 location to 3 locations without compromising our core values, which is commitment to patient care with compassion.
