Discover what your triggers are with our allergy testing service
Many people suffer from seasonal or year-round allergies that cause major issues in their daily life. Over-the-counter medications might provide you with some relief, but in most cases it is not enough.
Now you can discover what your allergen triggers are so you can manage your symptoms with our comprehensive allergy testing in New Jersey.
Whether you’re allergic to food, environmental triggers, or medications, we perform a variety of tests in our Jersey City locations to help you find out what you’re allergic to.
Allergy Testing We Offer:
We offer different types of allergy tests to help us find what you are allergic to. Each test looks for a specific type of allergen:
Skin Prick – This test looks for immediate allergic reactions to around 50 allergens at once including allergies to foods, pollen, mold, dust mites and pet dander. Reactions can show in 15-20 min. An itchy, red bump will appear if you’re allergic to the substance. The test is done on the forearm or back.
Blood Tests – This test can measure and detect how many allergen-specific antibodies you have in your bloodstream. This type of allergy test can screen for around 10 of the most common triggers. They can also help diagnose food allergies.
Elimination Diet – An elimination diet will remove specific foods from your diet so you can see if you’re allergic to them.
