Blood Testing

Keep Your Health in Check With Regular Blood Work

Getting your blood tested regularly is one of the best ways to keep track of any changes in your body, from the smallest to the most meaningful ones.

Not only can this help you spot any abnormalities before they escalate into something potentially more harmful, but it also empowers you to make better and more informed health-related choices every day.

For example, regular blood testing might detect a sudden increase in your blood sugar levels. To counter this, you might want to adjust your diet and incorporate daily exercise into your routine. In the long run, all these changes will allow you to build healthier habits that benefit both your body and your mind.

As per the CDC, chronic diseases are the primary cause of death and disability in the U.S.

However, it’s essential to realize that many of these chronic illnesses can be prevented or managed if detected early.

Your blood contains vital biomarkers that can reveal crucial information about your health, helping identify potential risks for chronic diseases, particularly those with noticeable symptoms.

Complete Blood Count

Enhance and Monitor Your Health with CBC Testing.

Also known as CBC, this common blood test examines the fundamental components present in the blood. Our providers employ this test to evaluate conditions such as anemia, blood disorders, inflammation, infection, blood cancers, diseases of the immune system, and other potential health issues.

What happens during a CBC test?

A healthcare professional will draw a blood sample from your arm vein using a small needle, causing a minor sting during insertion or removal. The process typically lasts under five minutes.

In addition to CBC testing, there are many other blood tests available to help us gain insights into your health.

Here is a list of additional lab tests that may be required should an abnormality be detected in your CBC test:

  • Blood Chemistry
  • Bilirubin
  • Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN)
  • Creatinine
  • Calcium
  • Protein
  • Cholesterol & Triglycerides
  • Uric Acid
  • Blood Clotting or Blood Enzyme
  • Viruses and Bacteria
